I want to build a pc for my work and gaming. Im a programmer and i want a pc that can run visual studio and android emulators smoothly but im on a budget. My plan is to build a ryzen 2400g rig w/ gpu and buy a 1050ti or same powered gpu in terms of price later when i have the money. Is there any more possible builds I can choose?

Solution

Look at 3000 -3200 for a good sweet spot in RAM speed... 2933 isn't horrible either. the 2400g with its built in graphics will still outperform the integrated graphics of any Intel offering, especially when paired with that faster RAM. With a 4 core 2400g, you probably have a good minimum for your development needs... After you upgrade your GPU you may want to look at a R5 2600/3600 or R7 2700/3700 for...
I think the 2400G + better GPU later is a great idea. The 2400G graphics are not very good for modern gaming at 1080p so do be aware. If you did though be sure you get dual-channel RAM at least 2666MHz or faster. 2133MHz and more so single-channel RAM can really hold back a gaming system.

*Update: I said 2666MHz but 3000 or 3200 is preferable. 2666 is kind of the middle-of-the road right now for performance.

To know the options you have, it is good to know general location (country/nation) and budget in addition to any extras you want (or will replace.)
