3.95 Usable RAM memory

Hi. I recently built a new computer on Ryzen 5 2600. Bought 2x4 HyperX Fury 2666 MHz HX426C15FBK2/8.
I noticed a weird problem.. in computer specs it says 8 GB RAM (3.95 Usable). I cheched with CPU Z, it detects dual channel and both sticks, same in bios but still in task manager I have only 4 GB. Is this a problem or it's because of my windows?

Could try running memtest86 on both sticks, 1 stick at a time, up to 8 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be why Windows is ignoring the stick. remove/replace any sticks with errors.

is ram on motherboards compatibility chart?

Did you accidentally install a 32bit OS instead of x64?

Perhaps, though 32bit can't access that much ram anyway, it tops out about 3.5gb. If he has a GPU in PC it would be eating into memory addresses too.

My windows is 64 bit. I tried every slot in particular, every single possibility, tested both sticks separately they work but when I set them in dual channel I have this problem. I tried single channel and all 8 GB work good, but why would I use single channel... Has someone any idea why dual channel isn't working? Is is some ram compatibility problem with MOBA?

your ram model isn't listed on the ram list for motherboard so its possible, all the hyperX memory mentioned starts with HX430C, whereas your ram is HX426C15FBK2 so just a few models away

You could ask on http://forum.gigabyte.us/ as I expect they would know for sure.

Do you have latest bios for motherboard as often bios updates can help with ram issues.
