I personally use the G402 and it's absolutely outstanding. The cable doesn't get in the way when I use it as it's quite well weighted and doesn't gather up in front of the mouse.

You can also set the weight of the mouse to your liking using the provided metal weights.

I guess the real question is how much of a serious gamer are you? If you're super serious and want to compete professionally then you'd be better off with the wired. If you aren't that bothered by competing or having a very minute advantage then I'd go for the wireless.
