I have a roomate which uses internet at very weird hours so my router must be on 24/7 and it is making the router not work right which is causing ping spikes on my games (I think) so is it possible to have 2 routers on the same internet package so I can use and turn off my router while he has his router and can use the internet whenever he wants ?

No, not the way you're thinking.

And having a router ON 24/7 should not be an issue for any reasonable quality router.
Mine is on 24/7. Last time it was OFF was maybe a power outage last year?

If you didn't get the hint with my first edit....Please tone down the language. Thanks.

As to your router...any reasonable quality router has zero issue staying on 24/7. That is the usual operating mode.

Are you sure he's not leaving torrents running or something? that's more likely to mess with your game ping than just leaving the router on is.
Also it depends on how good your connection is as to how much can be happening at the same time without causing issues.

But it could also be your router, some home routers are not very good especially with multiple users.

I second by what's being said, but if it makes you happier.... in order to have any effect, you will want to bypass his router completely so can't daisy-chain them, that means I hope your room has 2 outlets and allows both of your routers.

You will find that dorms have restrictions, they don't want everybody bring in their personal routers, 'cuz all of a sudden there would be hundreds of unmanageable radios.
