I want to upgrade my desktop (hp 120-011in - support page link given below) .I know H81 chipset motherboard can accept upto 16GB but hp support site says
- Dual channel memory architecture
- Two DDR3 UDIMM sockets
- Supports up to PC3-12800 (DDR3-1600)
- Supports 1 GB, 2 GB UDIMMs
- Supports up to 4 GB on 64-bit systems
The last point really conuses me...
Is it the max memory motherboard can accept? OR
Is this the max size of single memory stick... If i could use two 4GB sticks...
