Buying a Laptop, help!

1. What is your budget? Around 800 give or take

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? 15.6" don't care about how big it is.

3. What screen resolution do you want? 1920x1080

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? For my other half, just wants a laptop that's like a pc but no graphics card because she doesn't game.

5. How much battery life do you need? As much as possible I guess?

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? No.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.) Bit of photoshop, movies, general web browsing girl stuff basically

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? Needs to be an SSD boot and around 500GB storage, wether it's an HDD or SSD, cheaper the better.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links. Amazon UK, Curry's, Argos PC world, UK Mainstream suppliers.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? around 5 years would do her.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? dont really need a Optical Drive but if you can find one with all the specs and the OD, it's a bonus.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. Don't mind the brands but I've bought a lot of dell, lenovo asus stuff in the past.

13. What country do you live in? UK

So, the laptop is for my other half. She basically just wants a portal P.C These are the specs I would like to have but you can mingle a little with them

CPU: i3-i5-i7
RAM: 8GB
Storage: SSD Boot, with around 500GB of storage, be it SSD or HDD
Display: Around 15.6"

Finding it really hard to get such a specific laptop. I wish there was a place I could build a laptop but the sites I'm finding are weird. I think it's the storage type that makes it so hard to find. I will continue searching, just asking for a little help whilst doing so. Thanks will be replying to thread quite fast also.
