Hi Guys, I have a 4K 60hz monitor (link to it below) and I was wondering if I would be able to overclock it to about 75hz. If yes how can I do it relatively safely or if no.... It has G Sync and some other things that the link will show. Also would are the dangers that are LIKELY to happen if I overclock to 75hz, or what would your personal recommendation to a different 4K 60hz monitor that can oc to 75ish hz. Cheers and appreciate all the help.

I don't think you can overclock this monitor as it says that it has a fixed refresh rate of 60 Hz using the Display Port connection. You may want to...

I don't think you can overclock this monitor as it says that it has a fixed refresh rate of 60 Hz using the Display Port connection. You may want to double check this in the monitor's manual, but usually if a monitor is capable of being overclocked they will say it right in the title (to draw more buyers obviously).

Now, let's say it can be overclock. In this case, you would do it using the buttons at the bottom of your monitor. This is usually where all monitors settings can be modified. Once you find the overclock option there, select your Hz.

Now is the important part: after you perform the above step, right click on your desktop screen and go to the Nvidia Control Panel. Once you are there, select the screen resolution and Refresh rate there, and click Apply. You will notice your screen flickering once you click Apply.

And no there is no danger in overclocking your monitors if it is advertised with that capability.
