MemTest86 - Test 5 failed. Need to change my RAM?

My PC started to Bluescreen a lot so I decided to do a MemTest86 on my PC.. The results were that I had 404 errors in the Test 5

What do I do? Do I need to change my RAM or is it something else?

It looks like you are trying to run the RAM at 3000. Back off to the default 2133 and retest. Also it doesn't look like you have the latest BIOS installed. Do a BIOS update.

I changed it to 2133 and updated the BIOS.. The test came out pretty much the same .. or should I say even worse (507 errors) , I stopped it at the fifth test since it looked like the same problem.

You can try taking one DIMM out and rerunning. It it has errors try the other. BUT, if you bought the RAM as a set you will have to return both DIMMs.
