Don't assume you can just make the ram run faster it's very likely that ram won't overclock much if it does at all. If that ram was capable of running @ 3000 or 3200 stability without excessive voltage it would have been sold at that speeds not a slower speed.

The VS is the worst PSU Corsair slaps thier name on and isn't really better than the LC power. The CX450 or CX450m would be a better option.

I was thinking for overclocking the ram, but about PSU, is Corsair VS550 enough for this build?
