Hi All,

I had a win 7 pc, bought a new ssd, hooked it up (together with the win 7 hdd)
installed win 10 on the SSD (from booting up into the CD).

Win 10 installed fine, win 10 can see my hdd

the problem is that now, win 10 wont boot without my hdd connected.

And

I cant boot to win 7 anymore, tried disconnecting the win 10 ssd and still wont boot into win7 even with only the hdd connected.

I dont need win7 anymore but i want to be able to boot int win10 with just the win 10 ssd.
and have the option of connecting any secondary drive i have.

even with no hdd installed, i get a win 10 type (looks like win 10) boot error.

Please help

Thanks for the reply,
yes, is is a fresh install.
My problem now is that I cannot boot from CD, it always boots into the installed windows on my SSD and I can't find any secure boot options in my bios (my mobo is at least 8 years old).
