I'm building my first PC, and this is the case I've chosen:

Case: Thermaltake - Versa H18 Tempered Glass MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($43.00 @ Amazon)

It comes with a rear fan, and I won't be using a top fan. But I will be using front fans. If you take a look at it, you can see that I have a couple of options for the front fans: 1) use 3 120mm fans 2) use 2 140mm fans. More specifically, here's the picture.

The thing is, I will be using the pre-mounted PSU cover at the bottom (to hide cables), so the entire bottom will be nothing but PSU cables. And whether I choose option 1) or 2), one of those fans at the bottom will be blowing air over the PSU cables. So isn't that kinda useless? Should I arrange the fans higher or something?

How would you personally arrange these fans, knowing that the bottom space is nothing but PSU cables? Thanks!

(Apologies in advance if this isn't the right section to post in).

truly it doesn't matter very much. if you use three 120mm fans you will have more than enough airflow, using two 120 fans on the top half will still be plenty. Two 140mm fans will also be perfectly fine in terms of airflow. Don't be worried about the fans blowing over cables, the fan is pushing air into the case and the air will work its way through the case by itself. And... by having exhaust fans, you can direct the air where you want it to go. For example, two exhaust fans on top and two intake fans on the bottom half of the front will direct the air from below to the top of the case, passing over all your components.
