I am getting two beeps on my new build and no video. I tried following the post about what to if that happened and haven't had any luck figuring it out. Below is what I'm using.

BIOSTAR X370GT7
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6850
AMD RYZEN 5 2600
G.SKILL Flare X F4-2400C15D-16GFX
CORSAIR CX Series CX500

Solution

The latest AGESA Pinnacle PI 1.0.0.4c BIOS update for the X370GT7 is available from BIOSTAR's website.

You'll need to use a processor (e.g. Ryzen 3 1200) that is supported by the current BIOS version to be able to reflash the motherboard's BIOS to a later version.

Maybe I'm confused. The motherboard says it is version 5.0 which says it supports the Ryzen 2600. Does the BIOS out of the box not support it? I only get the two beeps, I don't get any sort of BIOS POST Code Indicator Display. Do I need to do something special to get this?

If the motherboard was manufactured before the Pinnacle Ridge processors were available then the motherboard's BIOS will not have support for the Ryzen 5 2600 until you update the BIOS.

Look on the BIOSTAR X370GT7 motherboard:

It doesn't even show a post code at this point. It looks like I need to update the BIOS before I can use the 2600. Do I just download the most recent BIOS from Biostar? Do I need to update anything else with the motherboard or just the BIOS?
