Hey there,

I got this setup going on now.

ASUS X-470 Prime pro (Updated to bios 4024, latest)

MSI Gaming R9 390

Ryzen 7 2700x, using the stock cooler

Corsair RM1000x

2x8gb of Corsair vengeance 3200mhz RGB pro memory ( https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Memory/Vengeance-PRO-RGB-Black/p/CMW16GX4M2C3200C16 )

Samsung 860 evo 250gb

Toshiba 3TB HDD

In an NZXT phantom case.

I installed the mobo, CPU and ram all today and it's running just fine. I have updated the ASUS bios to the newest one available. For some reason I cannot get the corsair ram to run at its sold by 3200mhz speed. I went into the bios, turned on D.C.O.P only to get the PC to just not post and having to reset the settings. I tried manually changing the bios ram settings too to stock settings. 3200 mhz ram freq, Dram voltage; 1.35v, 16 - 18 - 18 - 18 - 36 timings in the ASUS bios timing list. But it keeps on just not posting. Kinda lost as to what to do on this one :/ since my pc only functions at its base JEDEC settings. The ram sticks that were sold to me are in fact 3200mhz at stock, it said so in the ASUS bios. It just keeps it at 2133mhz, which is horrifying and bothersome with a Ryzen 2700x

I got both ram sticks on 1/3 aka A1 and B1 so that should be fine. All the accompanying software for this motherboard is installed too

My Tdie temperatures are at 85 to even 95 under load. Kinda worried about that too

I tried to install Ryzen Master, but it made my PC bsod and I couldnt start it until I recovered to an image prior to the download

Okay I solved it, rule of thumb for anyone with an ASUS motherboard that cant get XMP to work on their ram. Don't use A1 or B1 slots. Stick to A2 and B2.
It took me so much online surfing to figure that one out
