Parents say I’m too loud on computer

I like to play online games with my friends when I can (day and night) but my mom always yells that I’m too loud on the computer no matter what. I have a Blue Snowball iCE attaches to a boom arm and a closed back pair of gaming headphones. My room is at the beginning of the hallway (where the stairs come up) also where my computer is and my parents bedroom is at the end of the hallway. If I were to get soundproofing equipment my budget would have to be only $100. Please help :)
