Since a couple of months ago I have been experiencing stutters withing games that I had previously never had problems with. Bf1, Just cause 3, and rainbow six to name a few. I have had this CPU going on 3 years now and up until this point I have never had an issue with it. When I am in games the usage is upwards of 80 percent. I still have high frame rates in most titles yet I experience micro stuttering and lag on a daily basis. Games like pubg work fine but the game no longer loads when I am tabbed out. On another note, It is becoming increasingly evident that I when tabbing out of games, the game will crash for no apparent reason. I have tried putting my pc in performance mode but it fails to boot after applying the overclock in the bios. I have tried almost everything to the point where I am considering investing in another i7. All replies are appreciated.
