so uh yea,

I have a -
AMD ryzen 3 2200g(intergrated graphics)
- a 450 bt evga power supply
-a ddr 4 4gb ram
-500gb hard drive
- msi b350m motherboard
--------------------------------------
I have not got all of these items, tho i am planning on
but ive been researching stuff about the Amd processor and i found that you flash your mother board and you need windows 10 64 bit?

are those 2 things necessary?

Solution
If you only have 4gb of ram, having a 64bit version of windows 10 will at least give you more space. 32bit versions of windows use some of the ram addresses above 3.5gb for internal use, and the integrated graphics on CPU will also eat into it. If you get 64bit windows, I would get 8gb ram instead, more breathing space.

BY flash motherboard, I assume you mean update the bios? I think that depends on which motherboard you get

No, there aren't any drivers for Win 7, AMD didn't release them.

The installer may not even work - https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/9pbmjp/has_anybody_successfully_installed_windows_7_on_a/

and if you got it on, win 7 may not boot anyway - https://www.myce.com/news/windows-7-fails-boot-amd-raven-ridge-cpus-due-acpi-incompatibility-83931/

Its becoming impossible to find a new motherboard from either intel or AMD that supports win 7.

You can run win 10 without a licence, you don't have to rush out and pay for a license right away. we have a moderator who has been running win 10 without a license for about 3 years now. There are only a few minor restrictions.

So buy the ryzen and run 64bit windows 10 unactivated. Unless you really want win 7 for some reason, there is no reason not to.

download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB

all you do to skip license screen is click "I don't have a key" on the screen where it asks for one.

Any hardware in the last 5-10 years supports either architecture.

What ultimately determines what you system uses is the OS you install.
