My PC Sporadically and Arbitrarily Spams the Enter Key; I think It's a Hardware Issue

Recently (the past 2 days), my computer has been spamming the enter key without me pressing on it. It'll happen randomly: while I'm messaging someone on Steam, or watching Youtube videos. It usually stops temporarily, then happens again and then it stops happening; it happens sporadically. Fortunately, right now it doesn't seem to be happening which is why I am able to write this.

Some background:
I am almost certain that this is a hardware problem. When I had Windows 7, I had a variety of problems with my system including this exact same problem. When I switched over to Windows 10, it went away (it's been about ~6 months, perhaps a little more), and then it started happening again.

Also, I rarely dust out my PC (once or twice a year unfortunately). Just today (it's been about 5 months or probably longer from the last time that I cleaned my PC) I used wipes and an air duster can to clean my desktop of dust that had thickened around all the fans. When I booted my PC again, it took 3 extra seconds to hear the beep, strangely. I also noticed that I did not connect my DVI cable for the monitor to the right port (I connected it to the motherboard instead of my GPU) so I shut down my PC and connected it back. It still took an extra 3 seconds to boot, and just loading onto Windows was considerably slower (maybe this is temporary or coincidental?). Could this have anything to do with my problem?

Here are my PC specs:
-GPU: AMD Radeon RX 470 4GB VRAM - 2 years old
-CPU: Intel Core i-5 4590 (3.3 Ghz base speed, quad core) - 2 years old
-Motherboard: Gigabyte B85M- DH3 - ~3+ years old
-HDD: 7,200 RPM 1 TB WD Blue SATA - ~1.5 years old
-RAM: 8 GB DDR3 (Ripjaws, 240 pin) - ~2+ years old

Keep in mind, I use my computer almost daily and game on it for the most part. I probably clock 2,000 hours a year. Anywho, I have no idea where to start searching. If I could receive some guidance, that would be great, thanks!

Yeah, it has gone through a replacement. It's also happened for left click, so when I had Windows 7 it was happening for my left mouse click and my enter key, so I don't think it has to do with the keyboard.

So I assume that you have updated drivers and BIOS.

Given that you have replaced the keyboard, its unlikely to be that.

I assume you have tried a different USB port.

Can you try starting a live Linux image (ubuntu for instance) from USB or cd. If that exhibits the same problem then you know its not software.
