I used to decide either Asrock B450 Pro4 or B450M, but they lack VRMs. So someone recommended me to use Asrock X370 for better VRMs. But does the board itself produce quality sounds? If not, do I need a sound card? The mobo has an HD sound system, but I don't think it's enough...

Solution
Onboard sounds are really good nowadays for most cases.
Sound quality depends more on the end drivers a.k.a. speakers and headphones.
If you are still using those PC active speakers and standard headphones (up to 32 Ohm), there is no need to go for a dedicated soundcard/DAC.

The VRM people talking about are more for the processors and other stuffs a.k.a. things needed to power up the correct juice during OC. This is mostly not related to sound.
