My friend is having issues connecting to external game servers. He's not nearby to me so I can't hop over to give him a hand but by the sounds of it there's not much I can do... He explains it like this; When he tries to connect to blizzard services (overwatch) it says he's timed out. When he tries to connect to EA servers it says he can't log in. However, he has full internet access and the Uni he's at has no issues on their end (spoken to IT), plus he's been using the internet with no issues for over half a year now. He can talk on discord, play pubg and everything. He mentioned that when trying to connect to a friends match on Hearts of Iron it just doesn't let him connect. He's tried booting through safe-mode but he can't get into anything to test while in there, as nothing will load.
I can't really provide more details, but is there anything obvious that could be done? Or any ideas some of you may have? He's tried the typical CMD commands; flushdns, renew and so forth.
EDIT; I should add, as he's at Uni he's through their WiFi, so obviously there are some fixes he cannot do!
