How do you get Windows working after buying a new motherboard?

So I've recently just purchased a new motherboard (Gigabyte B450m) RAM (Crucial 8GB DESKTOP DDR4) and CPU (Ryzen 5 2400).

I've never done such a big upgrade to my computer before and I heard replacing the motherboard screws up your Windows. I don't have a disk for reinstalling windows but I have the Product ID, the Product Key and I log into my windows account with my Microsoft account (if that means anything).

So I was wondering how easy it would be to get Windows activated with changing the motherboard.

Thanks

Solution
Prepare windows installation media on USB flash drive by downloading it from Microsoft and reinstall windows (skip step, when asked to enter key).
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Then use windows activation troubleshooter to transfer license from old pc to new one.

That's pretty much all, that is required.

If you try to avoid re-installation, you'll face multiple issues:
  • boot mode compatibility - your system may not boot;
    drivers compatibility - possible crashes and system performance issues due to incompatible drivers;
    activation issues - windows will not activate.

Hi
In october i upgraded my fx 8350 system to ryzen new mobo, cpu, ram, and gpu.
So a little before all this i was working on my son's fx 8350 which keep bsod, so in put in a spare mobo which still had issuse's and decided to upgrade my sys and move my old 1 it into his.
So the fix i done was:
Log into mymicrosoft acct
I found all my system's out of them i looked between the hard drives to find his old mobo by looking at the last time it was running.
Then deleted the that 1.
Tried running activation troubleshooter telling it i replaced hardware.
At that time it still needed a call to microsoft.
Told them what i done which was ok they then had me to reuse my win 8.1 activation code.
Which mine and my son's was 8.1 with the free win 10 upgrade.
It then reactivated.
So then i upgraded mine to the ryzen
With the same op sys ssd i was running.
Put all together fired it up and would not activate until this time i didn't make the call and just went straight back with the 8.1 key code for that 1 and it reactivated.
Then put my old mobo, ram and 8350 in his done the same thing again and it reactivated.
Of course the activation's was done after running the mobo start up disk.
But both running with no issuse's.
Hope this help
Waiting to hear how it turns out.

Thanks. I've also got another question on the same topic though. What do I do before I put the new motherboard in? Do I fully uninstall windows or something, and if so how?
