I have with me an asus z87-Plus motherboard with 8gb of G.Skill RipJaws ram, 4gb across two sticks. And im constantly getting a red cpu_led, after a long time of searching I realized that the cpu may or may not be compatible. And I can't check what bios version it is to see either. I have a i5-4590s and I see a little note on the side of my cpu compatibility list noting that I need to update my bios in order to use that specific cpu. Can you please tell me If this is true. I've contacted asus support and the only thing he told me was my ram was incompatible which was causing the red light, yet I don't see that too be true considering its 1333hz ddr3 non-ecc unbuffered ram.
