I built my PC roughly about 6 or 7 years ago, the specs are:

- 550w Corsair PSU
- Intel I5-4670k (never been overclocked)
- Asus Z87-K motherboard
- GTX 770 2GB
- 16GB RAM(1600 Mhz, 8 x 2 sticks)
- Stock Intel CPU Cooler

The CPU cooler is a bit broken, some of the pins that fit into the motherboard are snapped. This results in the cooler not being as tight to the CPU as possible. My CPU runs at around the 41 degrees Celsius with a load of 4% and the CPU Fan at about 1209 RPM

My question is would overclocking be possible with my current stock cooler, I'm hoping to get the clock speed to at least 4.2Ghz, More if possible. If this is unrealistic (which I'm going to assume it is), what cooler would you recommend. With Black Friday coming up i'd be hoping to pay under the £35 mark.

If there is any information left out here that would be of use just let me know and I can add it in.

Thanks everyone,
Nick

Edit: I've just been playing Ghost Recon: Wildlands, the load was hovering around 80-100% and the CPU temp was hitting mid 90's for degrees Celsius. So, yes i'm going to 100% need a new CPU cooler.
