8x11 Printer for Warehouse

Hey guys,
I'm new to this forum so forgive me if I break any rules.
Anyway, I need help searching for an 8x11 printer that can survive warehouse conditions (dust, temperature changes). Basically, my company needs to print 8x11 packing slips in our warehouse. We are considering using small office Brother printers but we are worried about the dust.

Do you guys know of any printers that could survive under these conditions or even something that we could use to cover the small brother printers to shield them from the dust?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

We are looking for black and white inkjet printers. I've been searching for more rugged printers, but the printers that I've found are far more extreme and expensive that we need.
I know companies like Brother make more rugged handheld printers and that's basically what I need in a 8x11 printer.

"handheld printers"?

I have a family member who is quite involved in a massive warehouse environment at a management level. Handheld printers are a sure way for lazy employees to "accidently" break things so they do not have to work while things are being fixed.

Go for as rugged and as tough a printer as you can afford. At a fixed location and with whatever surrounding physical protection that you can provide.

Put a trusted employee in charge of producing or otherwise managing packing slips. Along with maintaining (e.g. paper, toner/ink) and cleaning the printer

Per kanewolf the physical environment requires milspec hardware. But you must guard against human "error" which is more likely the greater threat or danger.

Expensive - probably so up front. Still likely to be less than going through "x" number of handheld printers.
