I think that is probably a good purchase. I've had a lot of clients bring me ASUS laptops and they were always pretty reliable. Usually, they were only brought for Windows issues, while a lot of the other brands of gaming machines I see are problems directly related to cooling.
The MSI is a more powerful unit, but it might be more than you strictly need if you don't do a lot of gaming. If you primarily game on your laptop, then go with the MSI.

If gaming at a higher level isn't all that important to you, then go with the ASUS and save a few bucks. Both are probably equally well built. IMO I believe ASUS to have better customer support than MSI, but that's just me.

I game a lot and need something powerful that will last long. If both are pretty good then I guess it doesn't matter much which I choose is what you are saying? Originally I was going to get the del g7 but I read it has dim issues and I want something that looks good.

One of those units has a mobile GTX 1060 and the other has a 1070. Either are ok, but obviously the 1070 is more powerful. Thing about it is, often for laptops, when they have a higher powered GPU card they struggle to keep it cool and they tend to fail faster. I really wouldn't want one with a very high end GPU. Something in the middle seems a safer bet with all other things being equal. You might want to do a little investigation on some forums regarding the cooling capabilities or complaints of all three of those units. I would not expect the Dell unit to have as good of cooling as the other two.
