[SOLVED] Replacing a Ryzen 5 1600 with a Ryzen 7 1700x?

I bought a Ryzen 5 1600 6core for 128$ last year

I see a Ryzen 7 1700X 8core for.... the same price. LOL....

I am only planning for gaming. I meaaaan... should I just replace it and sell off my Ryzen 5? The only issue is I have no experience selling old CPU's and don't know my resell value.

you must live somewhere that has great prices on CPU's cuz for me the 1700x is about $300
Or you're looking at the used market.

Either way, if you have the money to buy it right now, then it's a steal at that price.

Then you can go off and sell your CPU on the used market for like $100
