Solution
This would be a lot better. You want the faster memory with Ryzen. Slow memory definitely affects performance on Zen platforms. And as mentioned, the B450 motherboard is a much better option since it will support the 2nd gen Ryzen CPU out of the box AND it has much better memory compatibility.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Processor ($95.00 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock - B450 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Patriot - Viper 4 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $214.98

120GB SSD will be enough for OS and a couple apps like web browser and stuff.

250GB is good enough for having that and a couple of games.

The 500GB SSD I picked gets you more storage for games for $12 more than the 250GB.
