B450 vs X370

Hi,
guyz i m trying to select a decent mobo for my 2400G!
I was just searching out and found Gigabyte aorus GA-AX370 Gaming k5! it is very beautifull mobo with special RGB lighting!
Does it is beneficial for me to to go with it or i should go with B450 Aorus Elite! as both mobos are good supported with RGB! Tell me the difference between B450 & X370! which is better and why, considering that i will upgrade my cpu and ram in future!

There is no reason why you can't get an X370 motherboard if you're going to a real computer store to buy it. Just tell them that you'd like an X370 board but you need the BIOS flashed. No store would refuse you because it costs them nothing, it makes them a sale and they get to move an "old"...

this is just a shit to update the bios then use ryzen 5 2400G! right?

I'm sorry. I don't understand your type of English.

You can't use a 300 series board with 2nd gen Ryzen until you first update the BIOS. and that requires you to use a 1st gen chip in order to boot to the BIOS and do an update.

Pointless and waste of money and time to try and do that.

Just get B450. You can overclock just fine on a B450 board.

No store would refuse you because it costs them nothing, it makes them a sale and they get to move an "old" X370 board. Hell, if I were a seller of motherboards, I would flash ALL my X370 motherboards so they could use Ryzen 2000 CPUs out of the box and I would even advertise that fact. Get the X370 board, it will have better VRMs, more SATA ports, more USB ports, multi-GPU capability, better power management and better build quality all-around because X370 was the flagship chipset and came out JUST LAST YEAR! This is still new tech. They're currently the same price as the B450 boards and sellers will be motivated to move them because people are looking at X470 now. That is definitely the better path to take in the long run.

If he buys the CPU and motherboard together in a store, I can't imagine that the store would refuse to flash the BIOS for him. I'm sure that sellers are motivated to move their X370 motherboards and would be happy to help. All they need is a cheap Athlon or R3-2100 CPU lying around to do so. I used to work at Tiger Direct and we ALWAYS had low-end spare CPUs lying around for diagnostics. That would do the trick and an X370 board will be better than a B450 board. Remember, they only came out last year so they're not exactly old tech. LOL

The OP has not stated such information as of yet so I assume he will be buying online.

Dont be aggresive I just want to know the difference between them and I got ma answer! x370 is good not a bad but i made my mind to buy Gigabyte B450 Aorus elite from local computer store in Santiago!
