So I'm planning to build a gaming pc for my brother but unfortunately am not very good at computer related stuff..but i want to buy the pc by parts anyway since knowing him..i think he'd have fun connecting the parts himself. Reading around I've come up with this build so far:

- 2x4GB DDR4 3200MHz G.Skill Ripjaws V
- Ryzen 5 2400g
- MSI B450 Tomahawk
- 2TB Seagate Barracuda 64MB HDD
- 600W FSP Hammer PSU, full modular
- 240gb GEIL Zenith R3 SSD
- Case: Matrexx 55 ADD RGB 3F
- Monitor: 24" Zowie by BenQ RL2455

Is there anything I missed to build a gaming pc? Also, I am quite confused about the RAM compatibility..Is the 3200Mhz one alright or should I get a 2400Mhz one..Sorry as you can tell I am quite a potato at this.

He plays games like CS:Go and Rainbow Six Siege btw..and no video editing, etc.

I would get a better power supply.
Something that isn't going to catch on fire. hard for me to determine where you could save money and possibly get better parts since PH shopping online is something that is kind of difficult to do.

any B450 motherboard will do, so if there's a cheaper option go for it.
as long as the RAM is rated for 3000Mhz or more it's fine, just get whatever is available at those speeds for the cheapest price.
(make sure it's DDR4 of course)
2666MHz at the very least in speeds.

I'll see what I can dig up for you and post it soon.

Nope... https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/

You can get anything above 400w. But get something good quality. Assuming you will add a 1060, that build will not draw more than 350w from the wall. The good quality units usually start from 450w.

oh lol..thank you..I'll switch the psu for a 550W Seasonic Focus+ Gold 550FX then..i couldn't really find anything around 400W at the site of the shop I'm buying from..and this is the closest one that doesn't go too over budget that i could find
thanks alot for the helpful links :D
