Does anyone know if the old GeForce 6150 / nForce 430 Chipset supports 3TB hard drives? I have an older AMD dual core system I was thinking of turning into a home file storage unit. Computer is in good condition, but only has a 1TB drive currently. Was looking to replace it with a 3TB drive.
I don't necessarily mind having to partition the drive smaller in W indows (to 1.8TB for example) just as long as I can create two partitions and get the full amount of space out of the drive I'm looking to get.
The computer is also running Windows 7 64-bit, but if I remember correctly, 3TB should work with Windows 7 with some tweaking (obviously probably need to mount the drive as a GPT partition).
