I'm looking at purchasing a new K&M (Keyboard & Mouse) set for work. I work as a programmer and have seen that Amazon currently have this on sale. The reviews are somewhat mixed but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a nice comfortable keyboard that doesn't require much force to type the keys, along with a mouse.

I would almost definitely want wireless but it is not a requirement.
I would prefer it to be sub £100.
I will not be taking it home; doesn't need to support multiple machines.

Thanks in advance.
Matt.

Comfort is relative.

My constant recommendation is to go out and try as many keyboards as you can. Family, friends, co-workers, office supply stores, big box stores, computer stores.

Identify 2 or 3 keyboards that you like and believe will 1) be comfortable for you to use, and 2) remain comfortable for you.

Then research those 2 or 3 keyboards looking for independent reviews or reviews by verified buyers. Then visit the manufacturer's websites. Read the User Manual, the FAQs and Forums. Learn what people are asking and saying. Look for what is said as well as what is not said.

You may discover, for example, that that cushiony wrist rest is not so cushiony..... Or will not remain so, "packs" down with use.

I use a separate wrist rest that I can shift a bit when necessary - "comfort". Or clean when it starts feeling gunky. Ditto for mouse and mouse wrist support.

I am finding that the lettering tends to wear off very quickly on many keyboards with the most commonly used keys disappearing completely. May be moot if you touch type.
