Okay so i recently got into pc's about half a year ago i went in totally blind , got a prebuild pc with a ryzden 5 1600 processer and a rx580 graphics card. I want to use this pc i have now for streaming and i want a new one for gaming. i want to get over 144 fps as fps is most important to me. idont even know where to start. ive herd about i7 for cpu but dont know diffrence in all them, and ive herd i want better than a 1060 gpu ? can someone help. , also the only parts of a pc im even remotly aware of is cpu and gpu can someone send me in right direction to learn a little more maybe?

Solution
I do not know your budget.
For a balanced gamer, budget about 2x the cost of the cpu for the graphics card.
For pure gaming intel 9th gen is as good as it gets.
$250 buys you a I5-9600K and a GTX1080 will be appropriate.

$400 buys you a i7-9700K and a GTX1080ti or rtx 2080 would be appropriate

If you have no budget restrictions, I9-9900K and RTX2080ti is as good as it gets.
Both parts are now in demand and command price premiums.

Estimable
Okay... first of everything lets define what we want and then start from the very begining.
-You said you wanted to game at 144 fps. I assume cuz you have a 144 monitor like a zowie or something... Thats fine. At what Resolution you wanna game? 1080p?
-What is your budget
-Are you going to use that pc stricly for gaming or you do have another tasks like video rendering and stuff ?
