I have just ordered the parts for a new pc which features the i5-9600 and the rx580 8gb graphics card. I have a few 1080p 19" monitors but i thought it might be a good time to get a bigger screen for games and such but i also want to be able to type and do other general things. I was thinking maybe a 27" screen. I also read that 1080p on 27" makes words in a document look grainy, so i was thinking about getting a 4k since there are a few deals going on to get a 4k around $200. I wanted to know if others think that that will work well, if i should get a smaller monitor, if 1080p or 1440p is good enough, and should i get a monitor that supports freesync. For the freesync, i have found 2 monitors with about a $40 difference where the more expensive has freesync and the cheaper does not as far as the listing goes. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I am open to other sizes from 21"-27"
