Hello guys, I have a bit of an issue. A month ago my female cat kept using my PC and apparently peed on it, killing the motherboard. I ended buying a new one with new ram and a processor and I have a 4 TB WD Harddrive that I am trying to get some vital data from. I bought a Sabrent docking station and plugged it into my new PC and while the station is being recognized, the hard drive isn't.

I tried doing the something with a old laptop and got the same result. I really need to get data like resume and passwords from there and I was wondering what should I do from here?

For the original computer it started with Windows 7 but upgraded to 10. New one started with 10 when I had someone moved the parts for me.

As for the motherboard, the original was an ASUS Hero IV and the new one is a ROG Strix 8350-F mobo.

No it was not encrypted. Sorry didn't see that question. It was on the computer when I had the hero. I haven't attached the internal hard drive to the inside of the computer. The guy said he didn't have enough room to put it in the case I got (he put in the two SSDs I have). The new case is Eclipse P300.

Unfortunately I am unable to get access to gear needed to access to basement to the power supply. I have not really messed with this case much and my case didn't come with instructions.

I will try that tomorrow as it is pretty late here. However one thing I will mention is when I tried to use it on this computer it killed my wifi.
