Can I boot test an i7-6700k with an Intel stock cooler?

I bought a used Z170 motherboard and Intel i7-6700k and would like to test them together sooner than later. The best cooler I have available at the moment is the stock Intel cooler that came with my i5-6500, I'm fairly certain it's the variant that doesn't have the copper insert in the base.

Would that cooler on the 6700k be sufficient to boot up and run at idle for a few minutes just to make sure it works, no benchmarking or anything like that?

Solution
The stock Intel cooler will handle the non-overclocked processor. Just keep an eye on the CPU temperature, and shut it down if t starts getting hot.
