Given the age of the CPU, you're likely limited to a used board anyway.
With that, I'd opt for the cheapest compatible motherboard available.
Anything with chipset B75, H61, H67, H77, P67, Z75 or Z77.
If you already have the CPU (and RAM), it's probably worth spending $50 on a board vs a whole new platform.
If boards are going to cost you >$100, or you don't already have DDR3 (sounds like you do have the CPU), then a more modern platform would probably be the smartest route to go.
