i7 3770 cant get to 3.9GHz

the boost of the 3770 is 3.9?

while i am playing i am looking at the real 4 cores and alll of them cant dont go over 3.7ghz while gaming and 50% load. (also tried to disable HT got 80% load but same 3.7ghz)

temps are 45-50 max while gaming.
there is any way to make it go higher?

i have tried to unpark cpu but the results are the same.

One way would be to just go into power options in control panel and change it to high performance. Then restart the PC and the clocks should go to 3.9ghz at all times assuming temps allow.

The 3.9Ghz boost is only for 1 core not all 4.

No, with the turbo boost feature it would be 3.9 on 1 core, 3.8 on two cores then 3.7 on 4 cores. Even if you could get all 4 at 3.9 I highly doubt the extra 200mhz would make a noticeable difference, maybe 3-5 FPS.

There is an option in the BIOS to run all cores at max, I think it's called Multicore Enhancement (I could be wrong), try that but I think it's only going to go to 3.7ghz. Also user beware if the CPU is running at a consistent 3.7 (or 3.9) it's going to get warm quick.

Depends on the motherboard. A motherboard with overclocking features should let you set all cores to a multiplier of 39 but you might need to add voltage for that to be stable. If you have a locked down board then you can't.

If you leave HWMonitor open, you'll probably see your 3.9 speeds in there when only a single core is loaded up, as above (my 3770k shows 3.9 GHz on Core #1 right now, and 3.8 max on the others). This is normal behavior for Turbo Boost in the earlier Intel CPUs.

You are welcomes. It's very unlikely you'd see a discernible difference between 3.7 and 3.9 anyway.
