Bought a old pc with Motherboard MS-7594MA(chipset Intel P45/P43/G45/G43), but the motherboard does not have enough choices(no ahci option, no cpu or fan control option). So my question is there a better motherboard that I could upgrade to?

Solution
I still have a core 2 pc that's been through vista, 7, 8 and 10. It's ran the same on all except vista. P43/5 have no igpu while g43/5 do. P43 is pcie 1.0 and the others are 2.0. P45 typically has 2x pcie slots for sli/cf. There's not much difference between them. For whatever use it could be used for, I don't see why you would even need a new mobo. That mobo will lower fan speed itself even without manual control. Check with windows if it's already got ahci and it's just not a manual selection.
It's likely cheaper to buy a whole pc for $50 than just the mobo since it doesn't get any lower than bottom of the barrel. But you'd be hard pressed to find an aftermarket mobo for fan control since it's so old. Many times those prebuilts just have ahci as a subset of raid so you select raid in bios.

hahaha. this is very old pc. I spent about $40 at Japanese Surplus store. I do not even see Raid in bio. Funny thing is the pc runs very smooth with intel core 2 duo E7600. Even with windows 10 RS 6. What is the difference between P45/P43/ and G45/G43? Thank you.
