will my intel core 2 duo fit in a am4 socket

this may seem like a dumb question but, will my old intel core 2 duo fit into an am4 socket onto my motherboard, just so i can update the bios and put my ryzen 5 in? im genuinely curious because the back of the chip seems like it would fit without a problem but i don't want to cause an hardware issues.

Your CPU has the LGA775 socket while the board has the AM4 socket... so it obviously won't work.

The socket on your motherboard doesn't have pins and the same is for your core 2 duo CPU... so you'll basically just sit a CPU on a socket without any contact between them.
