Mother board failure??

I've used my laptop for 5 years. Recently I can just switched on my laptop after 3 weeks of leaving my laptop untouched and do basic works. (before this I've difficulties to switch it on as it shuts down randomly and yes my laptop needs direct power supply) But this time when i wanted to play video, my screen went black suddenly. Help me, I want to send and repair my laptop but is it the overheating issue or motherboard issue that should be fixed first?

No error codes or beeps when trying to start up? Has the CMOS battery ever been replaced?
