Hey guys, I was just wondering what would be a good budget ryzen cpu (Hoping to get 6 cores) and a budget motherboard that would work for the ryzen cpu and also any type of ram? I'm newer to ryzen and just wanna see what everyone really thinks. Thanks!

Solution
The Ryzen 2600 is the best bang for your buck. Pair it with any B350/B450 motherboard. Go for 16gb of Ram 2x8gb. The ram should be atleast 3000mhz though. Make sure you set the XMP when you install the ram.

That’s all great. I just built a PC for someone with that motherboard and it’s very nice. I also prefer ASUS myself. That ram is very very nice. If you can afford it that is excellent. The Ryzen 2600 is cheaper on Newegg. But yes everything you picked out is great.

I am more of a MSI person, But asus has very nice reviews and some very good looking boards, I cant really afford it, But i believe i have 12 gbs of ddr4 ram laying around, That has some lights ontop. So i might just use that and save 200$. Thanks for all the help!

Forgot duel channel and stuff, Sorry very late and very tired. I just went with the best looking ram, I can always downgrade. I'll know what to look for. Thanks for linking that to me!
