Hi there,
I recently got some great advice for my 9900k built on this website and I am pretty much decided on all of the parts for my all-round 9900k built exept the case.
current part list:
Intel Core i9-9900K Boxed
noctua nh-d15 (or Dark Rock Pro 4?)
Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro
Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK32GX4M2B3200C16
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Windforce
Corsair RM850x
Samsung 970 Evo 500GB
Samsung 860 EVO 1TB
I'm currently still looking for a case and fans and I'd love some advice since my knowledge on this is very limited.
The current best contender is the Fractal Meshify C and I understood adding 2 x 140mm Case fans to the front is the way to go. I understood Noctua fans are best for this but I have no clue on which ones to get with all of the different model names. Also, I read somewhere the included cables aren't long enough in some cases and an extra extension is required?
I'd love to hear some alternatives to the Meshify too since it is slighly small for my tastes. I'd love to have more options of upgrading (to AIO for instance) so some more room inside the case would be nice. I'm looking for a case with a mesh front and good airflow to air-cool the 9900k.
The unreleased Phanteks Eclipse P600S looks perfect to me but unfortunately that won't be released until early next year.
thanks in advance, Robin
