Hi, thanks for the reply! I was looking into the Noctua NH-U14S, but there were only a few mm's to spare; would this be okay. Also, I've always wanted to buy off Newegg, but never known if it's legit. If you reccomend it, I will buy it Noctua NH-U14S. Thanks! :)

They do push those cooler towers to the limit. Basically if you can get the side on the PC case, you are fine.

Newegg is legit. I buy most online components from Newegg.com or from Amazon based on the cheapest prices.

Whether you buy from them or not, their search engine for computer parts is great. For instance if you are shopping for a monitor, you can narrow the filter down to show just the models with the features you want.

Sure the Ryzen processors are cheap at the moment. But if you prefer Intel over Ryzen it dosen't matter that much. It comes down to the personal preference of the OP.

There is literally no reason to prefer one or the other outside of current price and performance. Saying “I prefer Intel/AMD” without referencing a logic reason is famboyism. Intel for the current inflated price is not worth the extra 10% performance in some tasks. Not when it costs literally twice as much for the same core counts plus a more expensive board for features like overclocking.

That is your opinion only.

It doesn'y make any difference, the only one in this discussion making any decisions is the
OP.

Ryzen does offer a great value for the cores/threads on offer, it takes the crown on a price/performance basis quite comfortably.
That being said though, for outright raw gaming performance, an Intel i5 will still result in more frames most of the time.

The OP presented a build - you're entitled to suggest an alternative and why, but let's stop it with the "fanboyism" and "Intel fan club" etc.
