My motherboard is AsRock H110M-DGS, this is the internet page for it:
https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H110M-DGS/index.asp
I was planning to get a i3-8100, but this MB is meant for the 6th and 7th generation while it says this for the 8th one:
"*8th Gen Intel® Core™ desktop processors are supported with Intel® 300 Series chipset motherboards only"
I don't really understand what this means, can someone tell me in short - will my MB be able to handle this CPU?

Solution
The CPU Support List from the link you provided, shows that the Intel Core I3-8100 is NOT on the list. Therefore, it is not supported.

The motherboard you're looking at is an Intel H100 series motherboard. You can tell by the model number, "H110". In order to support the 8th generation processors, you need a motherboard that has the 300 series chip set, like the "H310", "B360" or "Z370".
