Hi. So I was using my pc and I wanted to check something on my steam and it wasnt responding. I tried to open it again but without success. So I thought a classic solution like a restart would help. But pc got stuck in 'restarting' screen. So I turned it off. Turned it on again and american megatrends screen comes on and there was a smart error status bad on my non boot hdd. Red boot_device_led was on. So I went and disabled hdd in bios and when i tried again it booted straight to asus bios. Led was no longer on since I disabled hdd in bios. I noticed my boot priority was messed up so I found my boot ssd in bbs priorities and then i set my boot ssd as #1 boot. Same thing again. After that i unplugged all drives only leaving boot ssd. Still the same. Tried booting with no keyboard mouse or any usbs same thing. Also tried reverting to default settings. Sata mode is ahci. Bios is showing correct time and date on every boot.

Only thing I can throw at this to possibly help is hopefully you possibly have a usb or disc to try to reinstall windows and go and start a reinstall for windows on that specific ssd and possibly do the windows reinstall and see if the new install will let the ssd boot windows normally. I am just throwing this at the wind for now cause you did not list what the smart error status came up as when you only had the ssd plugged in

When I unplugged hdd pc started to boot directly in to the bios there was no errors. But that hdd is not even boot disc so i cant possibly imagine why it wont boot even after i disabled it. I have usb with windows but i was hoping maybe there are some solutions im missing.
