I have just build my first pc just a little more than a week ago and now it is having a boot loop. i am fairly sure that the problem isnt the PSU but something to do with the motherboard. The pc turns on for about 5 seconds showing the code 15 (Pre memory system agent initialization is started) i've already tried receding the memory and gpu aswell as reseting the cmos at this point i really don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Unselected your Best Answer - problem remains to be identified much less resolved.

Are you overclocking now? If so, stop. Determine if that makes a difference.

Double check motherboard's supported memory modules and the RAM currently installed. Verify that the RAM modules are correct, and fully installed per the motherboard's User Guide/Manual.

Try single pairs of matched modules in allowed configurations. You may be able to narrow down to a defective RAM module or slot.

I only had a light overclock on the gpu and was running the RAM at 3200mhz which is the rated speed I can see now that the RAM is the problem because when i take out the ram it dosent boot loop but what do i do now?

If I am following correctly there is a RAM configuration that works (i.e., "boots") but other configurations/combinations fail.

So you take out some module(s) and no boot loop - correct? And the system then boots.

Verify that you have supported RAM modules via the motherboard's manufacturer's website.

Go to the RAM manufacturer's (Kingston, Crucial, etc.) website to crosscheck. Take a close look at the stated specs and details....
