Is this a good budget build?

Thermal paste comes pre-applied on the stock cooler you'll be getting when you unbox the Ryzen 3 2200G. Can you please pass on where you're located and how much you intend to spend on your parts purchase?

2200G, B350, 2x4GB DDR4 2400, an EVGA 500BR and a GTX1080??????

Well, no... not particularly "budget", nor particularly well balanced either..

the 2400MHz RAM will likely hold back CPU performance, the B350 will probably need a BIOS update to support a 2200G, and the PSU is a little too "budget" for me, to be comfortable running a 1080 from it.

The PSU is 'fine', and is a heck of a margin better than a lot of the budget units out there..... but it's not really intended for higher end systems.

Barty,
That's what I thought, why pair a GTX1080Ti with a Ryzen 3 2200G, it just doesn't add up. The PSU is also lack luster but it seems OP wants to blow up the system a second time.
