Core i5-7500 - Where to purchase for $130 or less?

I looked on Ebay, and noticed that most of the i5-7500's selling for $150 or less are ES models or i5-7500T models. Is there any other place to purchase for more modest sums, or is that simply the market rate. I'm clearly willing to purchased used at this price point.

I'm open to other suggestions, if there is another CPU that'll work on LGA1151 (pre-300 series) that'll allow a GPU to achieve 144 Mhz.

mods: This is not a duplicate question. I posted a somewhat related question, in relation to "another" machine.

Solution
Check locally, craigslist maybe.

Getting a game to run at 144hz is more about the video card than the CPU. Once you get past the core CPU speed the game wants to run, the resolution and refresh rate is almost all video card speed.

A 6th gen or slower 7th gen i5 should be fine.

Of course you are correct. Sorry that my original question was incomplete. I kept a lot of the information in my head, and failed to mention that I plan on upgrading the GPU from a 1050 Ti to a 1070 Ti or 1080 Ti, in order to play Fortnite. I haven't decided between 1080p or 1440p, but either one will be shooting for 144 FPS. It just seems a touch wasteful to invest another $230 in a Ryzen 5 2600 + MB setup ($160 CPU / $70 B450 chipset MB). But once the purchase price of a skylake or kabylake cpu exceeds 50% of that $230 entry price, then Ryzen starts looking like a smarter investment. Honestly a skylake i5 had not occurred to me, but I will definitely investigate those prices as well. Thank you.

FYI: Yesterday I posted a somewhat similar question about family computer #2. This question involves family computer #1.

OK, so you already have a system? Question is still started in the middle of things, what do you have now?

Hi hang-the-9. Sorry for my delay in responding. I believe that my best bet for upgrading is either a i5-7500 / e3-1220 (v5,v6) / e3-1230 (v5,v6)

I'll probably go for whichever I can find the best price on Ebay or Craigslist.

*** specs ***
mb: ASRock Z170M Extreme4
cpu: Pentium G4560 (stock fan)
storage: Samsung 960 EVO 500 GB
case: Fractal Design Define R5
psu: SeaSonic S12II 520
gpu: evga gtx 1060 6GB sc gaming
ram: corsair vengeance lpx 16 GB (8 GB x 2) 2400 Mhz

*** notes ***

family computer #1 (specs above) I'm either upgrading to used LGA 1151 (pre-300 series) socket CPU OR building new Ryzen 5 2600.

family computer #2 (another message thread) I've already purchased a Ryzen 5 2600 CPU and I await warranty replacement of a B350 motherboard

I would not spend money upgrading a recent system like that past a faster CPU if it's holding back things in gaming. There are plenty of used i5-6600 and i5-7xxx CPUs for $100-120 on craigslist.
