My BIOS won’t enter Advanced Mode

So, long story short, after a green screen, and an automatically update of windows, the pc restarted and won’t boot the windows.

I removed the M2 from motherboard and now it boots till a blue screen with options, but it won’t recognize my windows usb boot drive, even if it appears in my boot menu from BIOS. The problem is that when I try to enter in ADVANCED MODE ( F7 ) it doesn’t do a thing .

Asus TUF x299 mark 2.

I reset the motherboard too ( the clock battery removed, and the screw on the pins ) , nothing changed.

Any ideas what can I try ?

You might want to breadboard the system, and remove the CMOS battery for at least 15 mins. The next thing to do after replacing CMOS battery would be to use a bootable USB installer you've created using Windows Media Creation Tools(off a donor system/laptop). See if that works for you.

Lastly, please pass on your full specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Breadboarding sounds like a complicated thing to me. I mean, I don’t know if beeps starting what the motherboard communicate :)

my system info :

Geforce gtx 1080 8gb
Antec Pro Platinum 1000w
ASUS TUF xX299 MARK 2
SSD Samsung 960 ( but this one i removed because the system freezes with it on motherboard, it s where the windows is installed ) ; SSD 820 Samsung 512gb and an Old HDD WD ( 4-5 years) i can t remember the exact name.
Corsair Hydro H110i
