1070 with phenom2?

I have a pretty bad pc, but I’m goin to start upgrading my pc and I’ll start with the gpu, I have a amd phenom 2 processor and a gtx 660 but im going to upgrade to a 1070, will it work?

I doubt it will, since a non UEFI BIOS environment will only lead to a black screen in spite of your OS booting into GUI. On another note, given the age of your system/platform, I also doubt your PSU is capable of delivering the necessary power to the entire system with a GTX1070 dropped in.

Ram: just says 8191 mb
SSD/HDD: no Idea, mby around 500-1000gb
GPU: Evga gtx1070 Sc (asus gtx660)
PSU: Corsair cx430
Chassis: Some really really old coolermaster
