Hi! I want to build my first gaming PC and i don´t know which graphic card is better for just gaming
I´m also on a budjet so i can´t really get any other better GPU. Maybe with the Holiday sales i will be able to afford a better GPU but for now i have this question.
Also, wanted to ask how many years you guys think that it will be before upgrading?
Thanks in advanced!

I've seen reviews that compare the 2 and they can be pretty close. I'd wait a little to see if 1070 prices come down any more, but it could also come down to your monitor. If you have a freesync monitor a vega 56 may make more sense, although if you're gaming at 1080p it shouldn't make much difference. I'd be interested to see what other think?

Oh yeah, i have also took note on which monitor should i get. I have a pretty old samsung 1366x768 monitor, so i will go for a 1920x1080. Since i have to buy a new monitor and you say that it shouldn´t make a lot of difference then i think i will pick the Vega 56 since FreeSync monitors are cheaper than the Gsync if im not mistaken.
Also thanks for the quick responses! I will wait for more answers tho

Keep in mind that these two cards target 1440p gaming and not 1080p. However if you focus in shooters-multiplayers you can combined it with 1080p to take advantage of extra frames. Make sure you select a fast modern processor too, as these gpus are both high end

Yeah, for the CPU I have chosen a Ryzen 5 2600 and i do focus in shooters and multiplayers, like the newer Tomb Raider games, TF2, GTA V, Prey, Hitman.. you know..
Thanks for the advice :D

Well... None of the titles will benefit from extra fps cause they are no shooters. First person shooters being said, like battlefield, cod where frames do count in a competitive way. Apart from TF2 which btw cannot handle much frames due to poor optimization, all the rest would make sense running at 2K with those gpu and 1080p. 1070 or Vega is a good investment but not meant for 1080p gaming at the moment, excluding competitive shooters mentioned
